Magenta by RoseofVictory Magenta by RoseofVictory
"No pierdas de vista la escencia
Que la indiferencia nos quiso robar
Te busco en el color magenta
Que tu impertinencia borró al pasar

Será que Dios se ha equivocado
Al pulsar un botón?
Será que a Dios se le olvidó?"

Magenta by Bushido

Translation of the lyrics:
"Don't lose sight of the essence
That indifference wanted to steal from us
I search for you in the colour magenta
That your impertinence erased by passing by

Could it be that God had it wrong
When He pushed the button?
Could it be that God had forgot?"

The translation might bot be 100% correct, but that's the idea of the song, I think.

For those who don't know magenta is a shade of violet, pink and red also called fuchsia [link] usually present in sets like this [link] to make all other shades of pink possible by mixing with black, white or red. You're also able to create other purples with it, by mixing magenta with blue.

The colour magenta is the colour of the Amsterdam-based anti-racism Magenta Foundation.
In gay slang, a beautiful attractive woman is called a Fushsia Queen.
Rose and it's variations are often associated with women and femininity. Violet is, in Chinese culture, the colour of harmony.
In the Green Lantern comic book, different colours are used to show different emotions, violet light represents love.

And with all these trivia I think you can understand the connection between a drawing that used no magenta at all and the name. I also like to share trivia so, here it is, have fun reading it.

Ezio and Cristina, while I try to find my "chibi" or more cute and adorable style.

Assassin's Creed and stuff. Sorry for my mistakes, I'm not a good drawer nor colourist.

Trivia is cool. Also the fact you used no magenta at all, made me smile.

Yeah, I knew you would enjoy it. Why would it make you smile?

I dunno, I like things like that. How you put a bunch of facts about the symbolism of magenta and related colours in the description of a drawing that doesn't use it.

Well, the song is called Magenta. .-.
I like how it shows a lost love. Cristina and Ezio are a lost love.
